Central Unit

Wednesday May 10, 2006, we had our first parade. We walked through one of the surrounding neighborhoods. We had a pep-rally to introduce everyone and we sang one of our favorite African songs. We had drummers and we had different kinds of puppets. We had string puppets, hand puppet, and marionette puppets. It was real fun.

The Puppetry class from UNCG had been making some amazing puppets. I like one of the female puppets, because it had a beautiful dress on. I also like the frog looking puppet. I had lots and lots of fun with the drummers. We waved flags and played funny tunes with the horns and shakers. I hope that we get to do it again someday!
